How to build a UGC media kit that brands read: cover with real UGC video frames

A UGC media kit is a one page summary that tells a brand who you are, what you make and how to hire you. Keep it short: a brand reader should understand your niche, see your best samples and know how to contact you in under a minute.

What to include

  • Short intro: your name, your niche and the kind of videos you make.
  • Best samples: two or three links to videos that match the work you want.
  • Services: formats you offer, such as demos, screen recordings or testimonials.
  • Process: how you work, from brief to delivery.
  • Contact: one email or one link to apply.

What to leave out

  • Long biographies and unrelated hobbies.
  • Samples that do not match your target brands.
  • Claims you cannot back up.

Keep it up to date

Replace older samples when you make better ones. A small, current kit beats a large, outdated one. Pair it with a focused portfolio: see what to put in a UGC portfolio and use it in your outreach, as explained in how to write a UGC pitch email.
