How to write a UGC pitch email that gets replies: cover with real UGC video frames

A UGC pitch email that gets replies is short, specific to the brand and easy to answer. Aim for under 120 words: who you are, one idea for their product and one link to proof.

The structure

  1. Subject line: name the brand and the idea, for example the brand name plus a one line video concept.
  2. One line about you: your niche and what you make.
  3. One idea: a hook or format that fits their product.
  4. One link: your best sample, not your whole portfolio.
  5. One question: something easy to answer with yes or no.

Before you send

  • Use the app or product so your idea is specific.
  • Check that the brand already works with creators.
  • Send to a real person, not a general inbox, when you can find one.

Follow up once

If there is no reply, follow up after a few days with one new sample or idea. Do not send more than one follow up. Then move on to the next brand.

If cold emails are not your style

You can skip outreach by joining a network that brings the briefs to you. Apply once, or read where to find UGC creator jobs to compare all the ways to find work.
